The Major Tech MT478 is a 2-Pole voltage, continuity and phase tester with rapid LED indication of voltage levels. The backlit LCD display offers the user accurate voltage measurements. The voltage range is from 12V to 1000V AC/DC on LED indication and 6V to 1000V AC/DC on LCD display. When AC/DC Voltage is detected the meter has three ways to indicate the voltage, visual display (LED and LCD), sound and vibration when the load buttons are pressed. The vibration operates similarly to traditional solenoid type voltage testers and meets IEC1010-1 CAT IV 600V safety requirements.
The Major Tech MT478 has a rotary field detection for testing 3-phase systems as well as a single pole Phase Test. Other features include a built-in flashlight and Continuity Buzzer. Diode Test. High-Quality heavy-duty moulded IP64 case, a thicker cord with wear indicator and a fitted and durable probe protector.
