The ARC-HOOD4PLUS-S+H represents the ultimate tier of head protection for extreme electrical hazards. Engineered with high-performance DuPont™ Nomex® textiles and specialized Paulson USA shielding, this hood is rated for HRC4 environments up to 69cal/cm². Designed for the highest energy risks, the fixed-visor construction provides a multi-layer thermal barrier that protects the head, face, and neck from life-threatening arc flash incidents.

To achieve a higher cal/cm2 rating, such as 75cal/cm2, additional garments can be layered and worn per NFPA 70E to reach the desired cal/cm2. E.g Layer up with a 34cal/cm2 Balaclava, 9.6cal/cm2 Coverall and 9.6cal/cm2 Arc flash inner glove to achieve above a 75cal/cm2 rating.
