Knowing the purity of refrigerant oil is vital information for every HVACR service technician in order to know if a system is operating properly. The test result obtained by checking system oil using Checkmate Oil Detector Tubes can be a predictor of compressor failure.

The Checkmate kit is the industry’s only valid field test for measuring Acid and Moisture levels in the Refrigerant. The detector tubes have been tested for accuracy by ETL, Intertek Testing Services, and ARI approved laboratory.

The Checkmate body is an aluminium tube holder containing stainless steel needles. Detector tubes are made of heavy walled Pyrex glass tubing. The detector tube indicator materials are packed under dry nitrogen.
